The TXTA Foundation academic scholarship application period is now closed. Technical and Trade School scholarship applications are open year-round and are reviewed quickly for consideration. Academic Scholarships

TXTA Foundation offers academic scholarships to employees of TXTA carrier and allied member companies, including owner/operators associated with member companies, their dependents, grandchildren and spouse.

Academic scholarships open in the winter and close in the spring with scholarships being awarded for the upcoming school year.

Applicant qualifications:

  • Affiliated with a current TXTA member in good standing
  • High school senior (graduate or equivalent), current university or college student (undergraduate and postgraduate)
  • Complete the online application and provide the requested supplemental documents

Trade & Technical Scholarships

TXTA Foundation offers trade and technical school scholarships. These applications are open year-round and open to any individual looking for career in trucking.

Applicant qualifications:

  • Individuals looking to become diesel technicians, earn their CDLs or interested in other trucking industry professions
  • Enrollment at a trade school, technical school, community college or university pursuing a degree that supports the trucking industry
  • Complete the online application and provide the requested supplemental documents
  • Applicants applying for a TXTA Foundation Trade and Technical Scholarship must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. The award of any scholarship will be contingent on submission and approval of an I-9 Acceptable Document. A list of acceptable documents can be viewed here.
