Texas Trucking Association Foundation Honors Jackie Polk with 2026 Kay Crimm Award

AUSTIN, TX - The Texas Trucking Association (TXTA) Foundation is proud to announce Jackie Polk as the recipient of the 2026 Kay Crimm Award. Presented annually at the Foundation’s Main Event gala at TXTA Annual Conference, the Kay Crimm Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and service to the TXTA Foundation. 

Despite only serving as a Foundation Trustee for just two years, Jackie has already made an extraordinary impact. When the Foundation established its network of vetted CDL and diesel technician training programs, she stepped forward to chair the subcommittee leading the initiative. Alongside her committee, Jackie has dedicated countless hours to interviewing schools, conducting extensive research, and evaluating programs to ensure they meet the Foundation's high standards for quality and credibility. Her expertise and thoughtful leadership have made her a trusted resource on a wide range of Foundation initiatives, and her contributions have strengthened the Foundation's commitment to supporting the next generation of trucking professionals.

Since its establishment in 2000, the Kay Crimm Award has celebrated individuals whose dedication uplifts the Foundation’s goals. Jackie joins a distinguished group of recipients who have significantly shaped the future of the Texas trucking industry through education and community service. 

Founded in 1978, the TXTA Foundation is a non-profit educational, public relations, research and community service organization governed by a Board of Trustees. The Foundation works in partnership with TXTA member companies to fund programs that enhance the understanding and image of the Texas trucking industry, positioning trucking as a vital and necessary industry across the state.
