Join fellow TXTA members in Lubbock for a weekend of dove hunting, fellowship, and true Texas hospitality. Hosted by Crooked Wing Outfitters, the inaugural TXTA Foundation Dove Hunt brings our industry together in support of the TXTA Foundation.

Dove Hunts

Both afternoon hunts will have a coordinated meeting spot that will be provided to registered attendees ahead of the event. 

 

Registration

$500 Hunter Registration

  • Includes the two-day hunt and one lunch.
  • If a shirt size is not selected by September 9 through the registration link, a shirt will be provided in another available size.

$150 Saturday Guest Pass

Friday, October 2

  • 2:30–3:00 p.m. - Afternoon hunt begins

Saturday, October 3

  • 9:30 a.m. - Clay pigeon shoot at Hub City Clays
  • Lunch
  • 2:30–3:00 p.m. - Afternoon hunt begins

The winner of the clay pigeon shoot will receive a Kris Rinks Bits and Spurs sterling silver belt buckle.

Attendee information

Hunt logistics

  • Five group leaders will coordinate participants.
  • Groups will carpool to the fields.
  • Afternoon hunts will conclude after dark.
  • Please include a cell phone number during the registration process to help coordiante attendees before and during the event. 
  • More details will be provided to all registered attendees via email before October 2. 

Food & beverages

  • Lunch will be provided on Saturday by Tailgaters BBQ 
  • Alcohol will not be provided.

Liability waivers

  • Attendees will be asked to sign a TXTA liability waiver in advance.
  • Hunters will also complete the outfitter's separate liability waiver.

Hotel Information 

  • Hyatt Place Lubbock has rooms available for $130 a night. Click here to book. The group code is g-txta. Hotel deadline to receive the group rate is September 11, 2026.
