Mario Sanchez-Lara
Biography
Mario joined Cummins in 1995 after working 3 years for a leading fleet in Mexico. He counts with 30 years of transportation/commercial vehicle industry experience, 29 with Cummins starting from field testing for multiple new products introductions, Dodge-Ram account quality leader, R&D aftertreatment vehicle integration, Cummins Turbo Technology account management, On-Highway product planning and management, CES account management for PACCAR, Engine Business On-Highway Marketing Communications Director, and most recently as Director for CSSNA Southern West On-Highway Sales & Support. Mario holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and management from Instituto Tecnologico y de Studios Superiores de Monterrey, in Mexico and MBA from Purdue’s Krannert School of Business. He is a Certified Quality Engineer. Mario is also fluent in English and Spanish.
Mario, his wife Griselda and their three children, Massimo (23), Marcelo (20) and Valentina (13) Since December 2017 calls Texas home, currently residing in Arlington. True to form for a Cummins technical person, Mario’s personal interests include being a “hands-on” Porsche enthusiast, Motorsports and Karting.
