This class is a required course for the National Motor Fleet Safety Certification Program and designed to teach safety personnel the basics of fleet safety management.

FLEET MAINTENANCE

Basic Maintenance Supervision of Motor Fleets Course


This class is a required course for the National Motor Fleet Maintenance Certification Program. This course is designed to teach maintenance personnel the basics of fleet maintenance management.

Topics include:
  • The functions of maintenance management
  • Maintenance budgeting
  • Shop planning and scheduling
  • Shop equipment specifications
  • Fleet equipment selection and acquisition
  • Federal Regulations applicable to maintenance operations
This is a 2 day class and begins at 8:30 a.m. the first day. 


Advanced Analytical Fleet Maintenance Management Course

The class is designed for all Supervisor and Managers with a responsibility in the area of Heavy Duty Vehicle maintenance management. It will serve as a reference to practices used in the daily work operations with emphasis on cost-effective principles and fleet availability, duty cycles, trade cycles and overall life cycle cost. The interactive session will give participants the opportunity to have meaningful discussion and open dialog with other professionals in the industry with like equipment and issues. Discussion regarding cost-effective principles and examples of how to measure maintenance cost and have continuous control of maintenance expenses. This networking delivers benefits when managing execution to deliver results that drive bottom line financial and long term decisions.
